Hopsin was arrested by Orlando police last night just minutes before he was scheduled to perform at 57 West. Apparently, the promoters of the concert (Scotch Irish Productions) tried to cut out the last scheduled opener Suspect. Hopsin came to his defense even offering Suspect a portion of his own set. Here’s a recount of how the events unfolded according to MyVerse, another opening act.

If u must know Hopsin is a trill ass dude.. The promoters tried to jerk the final opener out of his time slot. This artist had sold the most tickets for them so he was lined up to open closer to the head liners. The promoters wanted to return the money the opener had made from ticket sales. Followers of the artist were unhappy and some words exchanged between their entourage and the promoter. So the club called the cops. Hopsin approached the artist and said he allow him to take 15 min from his own set to rock. After defusing the situation Hopsin stood outside to speak with fans. I introduced myself and asked to take a picture with him. The cops had arrived late on their bikes and cut us off from taking the picture by riding pass us. , so we moved in closer to the clubs patio. I then gave him some Snapple coupons. The police rode up on their bikes again and asked us for both of our ID. We were compliant. The police said I couldn’t pass out flyers. I explained they were for free Snapples for the community. Hopsin said they were being rude in the way they asked us to move. The officer told him to put his hands behind his back.

I witnessed complete injustice today and realized There is no justice just a quota or contest to beat. The real criminals stole the peoples time and money. This should of never happened. All because of a 15 minute set these promoters wouldn’t give this artist. Greed will never win. -MyVerse

to all my fans who were let down at the orlando florida show 2 nights ago, i apologize and i will make it up in the future. i stepped outside of the venue to go to 7-11, then i saw a lil fight between 2 groups of people in the front, so i walked over and fixed the situation between the people so there was no more drama. everyone was cool after that. a fan came up and asked for a picture, and right after i took the pic i was arrested by a racist cop for NO REASON AT ALL! once he found out i was “hopsin” and saw that all those people were there to see me, he REALLY got the urge to ruin my night and take me away faster. theres nothing else to the story. thats why i got arrested and sent to county jail. those cruel fools handcuffed me, threw me in a small metal dog box in the back of a truck and drove me away, FOR NOTHING!!! Im a freakin human being who tries my best to walk in the foot steps of jesus and THEY ARREST ME FOR MAKING PEACE OUT OF A DANGEROUS SITUATION!?! this earth is a cruel place man. soo cruel. the system doesnt fight for justice, they fight for money and power so they can be looked upon as gods. this world is satan’s playground. its too late, we are already born into it so we have to witness and deal with the huge negative chain reaction hes creating in the hearts of billions. trust in God. hes the only way. those fools didnt break me. -
